International boat transportation firm, PSP, has reported its best show yet after a whirlwind week at the PSP Southampton Boat Show.

The title sponsor of the show has done a roaring trade with a high number of enquiries and has completely filled its vessel bound for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

On the first day of the show PSP unveiled its involvement as a consultant to the America’s Cup. For the last 12 months the transportation firm has been working behind the scenes having been entrusted with the coordination of logistics for this prestigious event in conjunction with the race management team.

Managing Director, Frank Dixie, said:

“This has been a great show for PSP – In fact I think it’s our best show yet. 14 members from PSP’s global Alliance attended the show from around the world, providing an invaluable opportunity to exchange news and discuss new developments.”

2011 marked PSP’s fourth year of sponsorship of the PSP Southampton Boat Show and the firm was heavily involved in every aspect of the event. Frank Dixie and PSP’s Marketing and PR Manager, Jo Dixie, opened the show and Jo took part in the Ladies Day Challenge where she took to the helm of a rib for the powerboat challenge. The whole company also celebrated its sponsorship of the PSP Southampton Boat Show as it hosted an “Out of this World” party, attended by the BMF CEO, Robert Stevens and Geoff Holt, among other guests.
