Frank Dixie, Managing Director of PSP, proved he would go to any length for his team last week as he flew to China to meet PSP’s ambassador taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2011/12.

Frank traveled more than 5,000 miles to Qingdao to catch up with Martin Woodcock, who was chosen by PSP as its Clipper ambassador last year. As part of his role he has been blogging about his adventures on board the New York yacht on behalf of PSP and representing the company around the world.

Martin has so far battled tropical climates, high winds and stowaway spiders and has kept PSP’s employees, customers and friends updated with his adventures through the blog at clipper.psp-logistics.com.

Frank said:

“It was great to see Martin, having waved him off at the start of the race in Southampton in August. His blog really has brought the race to life for everyone reading it back home and he has been an excellent ambassador for PSP on his journey.”

PSP is the official logistics partner for this year’s race and Frank also took the time to ensure all was going to plan for the organisers while in the Far East.
