Hampshire businessman gets vocal at the PSP Southampton Boat Show
Posted: 1 September 2010
The Managing Director of PSP, sponsor of the PSP Southampton Boat Show, is set to make a splash at this year’s show as he performs on stage at the event.
Frank Dixie, who is more accustomed to wearing a shirt and tie in his role of running the worldwide boat transportation company, will lay down his pen and pick up a microphone as he sings at the British Marine Federation (BMF) members’ party.
Frank is the frontman and guitarist for Harry Hammersmith and the Flyovers, an 11-piece funk and soul band. His daughter and PSP’s PR and Marketing Manager, Jo Dixie, is also a singer in the band and will take to the stage during the show.
Frank said:
“Playing with the band is a great stress reliever after a long day at work. I’m particularly looking forward to performing at the 2010 PSP Southampton Boat Show and showing our peers in the marine industry a great time.”
