PSP breaks into European market with new service

Posted: 24 February 2011

WORLDWIDE boat transportation firm, PSP, has broken into the heavily dominated European boat transportation market with a new service.

PSP has joined forces with Starclass, a boat transportation company based in Monaco, and cargo vessel firm, Flinter, to provide a series of regular new sailings across the continent.

With immediate effect PSP’s customers will be able to book onto the new service, which runs from Sweden, the Netherlands and the UK to Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Malta.

By sailing to ports with lower terminal handling charges, collaborating with a fellow boat transportation company and offering a choice of service, PSP will be able to provide dramatically lower costs than its competitors.

Managing Director, Frank Dixie, said:

“Currently Europe is a completely dominated market in terms of boat transportation. In my 10 years of running PSP it has become apparent that it’s difficult for customers to have a choice when it comes to cost. I’m committed to ensuring we give PSP customers that choice. To this end we have joined forces with two excellent companies and are able to aggressively undercut our competitors.”

The monthly service will not just be used by private yacht owners, but also boatbuilders and manufacturers, who rely on companies like PSP to get their products to shows and buyers across the world.
