PSP enjoys busy start to 2010 and reports a positive Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show.
Independent Hampshire firm PSP has reported a productive Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show and is continuing its busy start to 2010 with a sailing to the USA for the Miami show in February.
The title sponsor of the PSP Southampton Boat Show exhibited at the London event for the first time and Managing Director, Frank Dixie, said he was delighted with how the show went for the Segensworth-based company, which provides worldwide freight forwarding, express courier services and packing as well as boat transportation.
PSP announced three exciting pieces of news at the show; its new worldwide PSP Alliance, a network of hand-picked top firms from around the globe; its agreement with Dockwise to book its June 2010 sailing from Southampton; and the news that PSP had become an official supplier to ISAF, the International Sailing Federation.
All of this generated a lot of excitement around PSP s show stand, with hundreds of visitors over the course of the show, and marks a busy start to the year for the company, which had a shipment leave for Miami this week (January 19).
PSP Managing Director, Frank Dixie, said:
For me the best bit was PSP exhibiting at the London show for the first time. In addition, the alliance announcement was embraced by showgoers and the media, which was excellent.
The ISAF announcement endorsed our intentions to work closely with the sailing fraternity. It was a very proud moment to be named the ISAF logistics partner, especially as it was at the London Boat Show.
We also made some great contacts at the show, developed some good relationships and had some serious enquiries about our services. We re now looking forward to this year s PSP Southampton Boat Show, the third year that we have been title sponsor.
