PSP training day proves popular
Posted: 9 December 2010
AROUND 40 delegates from a variety of industries attended PSP’s annual free training day on November 30.
The event, which was held in association with HSBC to inform those involved in worldwide shipping about the latest developments, has been hailed a success by organisers.
Delegates heard from a variety of experts, including Frank Dixie and Shaun Parsons from PSP, David Allison from Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and Michelle White from HSBC.
Together, they covered subjects such as the latest changes to the incoterms, shipping abbreviations, container specifications, modes of shipment, letters of credit and shipping documentation.
Lynn Willrich, from DJ Willrich Ltd, said:
“It was a great day and gave a fantastic look into the world of importing and exporting, with all the latest rules and regulations simply explained. We will be shipping with PSP in the new year and the information given gave us a real insight into how our goods will be handled both in the UK and abroad by the company’s experts. The speakers were both informative and entertaining, making the event interesting from start to end.”
Due to its success and high demand, PSP will be running the next training day in March. For more information or to book a place please contact carol@psp-logistics.com.
