Sai Freight Becomes Ninth Member of PSP Global Boat Transportation Alliance

Posted: 19 October 2010

Leading Indian shipping agency, Sai Freight, has joined forces with worldwide logistics firm, PSP, and become the latest member of its global boat transportation alliance.

Sai Freight, well-known for introducing the Flexitank concept in India with TOD UK 15 years ago, entered into talks with PSP during the PSP Southampton Boat Show and officially joined the alliance this week.

All 11 of Sai Freight’s offices in India will join the PSP alliance, which was launched in January 2010 and already enjoys a large section of the market share due to its strength, experience and worldwide reach.

Managing Director of Sai Freight, Parvez Vohra, said:

“We are constantly evolving and moving forward. Joining an alliance with a like-minded company was the logical next step for us. PSP is one of the leading marine freight forwarders in the world and we are looking forward to working closely with not only the team in the UK, but also the other alliance members across the world.”

Frank Dixie, MD, added:

“The continuing progress we are making with the alliance only goes to show how strongly we feel that our customers deserve the best. It gives them the confidence that their valuable cargo is being handled by a company with worldwide expertise and is in safe hands at every corner of the globe. Sai Freight is a significant addition and with its forward-thinking attitude, we know it can deliver the high standards that we set.”

Sai Freight is the ninth member of PSP’s alliance, which includes members in Germany, Italy, Australia, China, Hong Kong, USA, Dubai and UK.
